Glensheen Mansion
Glensheen Mansion is an early 20th-century estate located on the shores of Lake Superior, just north of the main hub-bub of Duluth. This historic mansion has beautiful views of the lake and fascinating stories of the family’s wealth and mystery.
Park Point Beach And Beach House
This is Elsie and Moxie's favorite place in Duluth! Even in some chillier weather, the beach has a long stretch of sandy shoreline and provides stunning views of the Aerial Lift Bridge and the Duluth skyline.
Canal Park
Canal Park is a scenic area along Lake Superior and has a nice mix of local shops, restaurants, and history. The Lakewalk wraps around the shoreline of Lake Superior and can be used to reach the wedding venue (weather permitting). If it's food or drink you're looking for, some of our favorite stops are Vikre Distillery, Canal Park Brewing, iconic Grandma's restaurant, and Love creamery.
North Shore Scenic Drive
If you’re in the mood for a scenic road trip, just follow Hwy 61 along Lake Superior north. And if you make it all the way to Two Harbors, don't forget to stop at Betty Pies or Castle Danger Brewery too!
William A Irvin Museum
Located in Canal Park, take a tour of this giant ship that once carried iron ore and coal to Great Lakes ports. See their website for ticket and tour availability.
