Things To Do

If you're making a trip of it, here are a few places in the area that we have enjoyed in the area!
The Flume Gorge

The Flume Gorge

852 Daniel Webster Hwy, Lincoln, NH 03251

You need to purchase tickets for a certain time slot to enter, and there are a limited number of tickets during each time slot. When we visited in October 2020 we tried to purchase tickets when we arrived on Friday and were unable to get any for the entire weekend. We came back in spring 2021 and it was SO COOL! Fall is a popular time for visitors to the White Mountains. Plan ahead if you want to check this place out while you're in the area for the wedding.

Basin Cascade Trail

Basin Cascade Trail

Basin Cascade Trail, Franconia, NH

A fun hike - especially for anyone who likes to go "off trail" like the Babbitt brothers do. (free)

Artists Bluff

Artists Bluff

2750 Profile Rd, Franconia, NH 03580

Heavy traffic on this trail. But if you check out fall photos of the view from the top you will see why.

Chutters

Chutters

43 Main Street, Littleton, NH 03561

Visit Chutters in nearby Littleton to see the world’s longest candy counter, including father-of-the-bride Bruce’s favorite delicacy: Necco Wafers

Sunset Hill Golf Course

Sunset Hill Golf Course

234 Sunset Hill Road, Sugar Hill, NH 03586
, (603) 823-7244

There is a casual 9-hole golf course at the hotel! Bring your clubs if you want to play. We will also try and bring some extra clubs for those of you who can’t fit them in your carry-on ;)
