We love your children! They are welcome to spend the weekend with us, we just lovingly ask that they stay home for the wedding on Sunday, as we selfishly want our parent-friends to feel fully present with us on our big day.
We highly recommend you bring a car so you can fully enjoy the Berkshires, which has a limited public transportation system. That said, Ubers are now making cameos in the Berkshires so do what you need to do!
From NYC: If driving: Route 22 N (ilana's favorite way!) or the Taconic Parkway For public transportation: The Amtrak Berkshire Flyer --> Rental Car There are also a few Peter Pan/Bolt Busses that go to Lenox, Stockbridge and Lee From Boston: If driving: Rt 2 (scenic) or Rt 90 (efficient) West Public Tranpsortation: Peter Pan, Greyhound or the Amtrak to Pittsfield If flying: we recommend the Albany Airport, Hartford Airport or Boston Logan Airport and renting a car at/near the airport then driving to the Berkshires.
Absolutely not! We want you to branch off and make your own memories in this place we love so dearly.... but we'd better see you on Sunday!
There are tons of great options in Williamstown and North Adams! In Williamstown, the '6 House Pub will make for an easy transition to the Jamboree! There is also Coyote Flaco, a Mexican restaurant, right down the street. There is also a wide variety of restaurants along Spring Street in downtown Williamstown (e.g., Thai, Indian, pizza, pub). In North Adams, Tom LOVES Papa Ginos, a New England pizza chain staple. There is also Trail House Kitchen and Bar, Freight Yard Pub, PUBLIC eat+drink, and many more!
Anyone who signed up for the Wedding Day Shuttle will receive a separate email with information. Spoiler alert: It's a big yellow school bus!
Literally anything else.... Resist the urge!
