Tom and Ilana are getting married!

While they technically both lived in NYC at the same time, it would take the panini and a thoughtful algorithm to bring Tom and Ilana together! Their first date was an online lunch date on July 3, 2020. Ilana was charmed and asked Tom if he wanted to watch "Hamilton" (released that day) with her later that night: together, from afar. After a few online chats, Tom and Ilana forayed into 3D dating! Their first IRL date was at Jacob's Pillow (in 2020 when the whole campus was dark). They brought a picnic to share as they chatted around the "Inside/Out" Stage. Tom thought he blew it but on the way home, Ilana called her good friend Stefanie to tell her that Ilana found her future husband. On the next date, Tom literally did cartwheels for Ilana. After months of dating, it was clear that this would be a special connection worth making big moves for: Tom got a new job that transplanted him from Northampton, MA to Troy, NY. Tom and Ilana loved exploring Troy and Albany, as well as spending time in the Berkshires. Ilana lived between Boston and the Berkshires teaching dance and directing; the Berks soon became the common meeting place for Ilana and Tom. Ilana and Tom both got new jobs in Boston in 2023. They moved in together in Roslindale (across the street from their dear friends and "Guncles") and live happily with their two perfect cats (Hygge and Bear). They are two beautifully different people who compliment and love each other wholly.
