The easiest way to get to Leavenworth is to rent a car in Seattle. Renting a car will also allow you to explore the local area much easier, since Ubers are scarce in Leavenworth. You can easily rent a car at the SeaTac airport. You can also fly into the Wenatchee airport, which is about 30 miles from Leavenworth. There are rental car options from Wenatchee as well, but flying into SeaTac is usually much more cost effective.

Train

Wenatchee Valley Shuttle

You have two options with The Wenatchee Valley Shuttle. You can take a shuttle to the Peshastin Park and Ride (sometimes called the Big Y Park and Ride), which is about 10 minutes from Leavenworth and 20 minutes from the venue. You will need to arrange pick up at Park and Ride for transport to your hotel or the venue. We recommend calling Leavenworth Shuttle and reserving ahead of time. Do not count on Ubers in Leavenworth or Peshastin! Alternatively, you can take the shuttle to the Wenatchee Train Station. It's the same shuttle, you just stay on for an additional stop. You can rent a car from Wenatchee to use for the weekend. You will likely need to Uber to the Wenatchee Airport to pick up a car. Ubers are much more common in Wenatchee, and it is also possible to Uber from Wenatchee to Leavenworth for about $65.

Train

Amtrak

You have two options with the Amtrak train. It is possible to take the train from Seattle to Leavenworth and back. The train only runs once per day and you will need to arrange car transport from the station to the venue or your hotel ahead of time. We recommend calling Leavenworth Shuttle and reserving ahead of time. Do not count on Ubers in Leavenworth. The train arrives in Leavenworth at 8:17 pm and leaves at 7:18 am, so you would need to take the Thursday train to make the welcome party! You can also take the train to Wenatchee, which is a larger town about 30 minutes from Leavenworth. You can rent a car in Wenatchee, but you will likely need to Uber to the Wenatchee Airport to pick it up. It is also possible to Uber from Wenatchee to Leavenworth for about $65.

The best taxi service in Leavenworth is Leavenworth Shuttle. Call ahead of time to reserve your taxi.
