When should I RSVP by? Cuándo debería confirmar asistencia? Bis wann soll ich euch Bescheid geben?

We understand that destination weddings involve a lot of planning for you as well. While we don’t want to put pressure on you, we’d appreciate if you could let us know by mid-September 2025 for the German wedding, and December 2025 for the Nicaraguan wedding. It doesn’t need to be a final answer; we know many of you will need to finalize vacation plans, etc. If you can only confirm one event, that’s completely fine! * Sabemos que las destination weddings implican mucha planificación también para ustedes. No queremos presionarles, pero, si fuese posible, nos gustaría tener confirmación sobre la boda en Nicaragua a mediados de Septiembre 2025, para la boda en Alemania en diciembre 2025. No tiene que ser una respuesta final; sabemos que muchos necesitan organizar sus planes de vacaciones y aún puede ser muy pronto para decidir. Si solo pueden confirmar uno de los eventos, también está perfecto. * Wir wissen, dass Hochzeiten im Ausland auch für euch viel Planung erfordern. Wir möchten euch nicht unter Druck setzen, aber es wäre super, wenn ihr uns bis Mitte September Bescheid geben könntet, zumindest für die Deutschland-Hochzeit (Nica-Hochzeit: Dez. 2025). Es muss keine endgültige Antwort sein; wir wissen, dass viele von euch noch Urlaubspläne klären müssen, etc. Wenn ihr nur eines der Events bestätigen könnt, ist das natürlich auch in Ordnung!

Can I bring a plus one? Puedo llevar a un acompañante? Darf ich jemanden mitbringen?

We’ve put a lot of thought into our guest list, and for space and budget reasons, we’ve decided to keep our wedding small and intimate with our closest circle. We truly wish we could invite everyone, but at this time, we’re unable to accommodate plus ones. That said, the Polterabend is a more casual and flexible event, and you’re welcome to bring a date! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. * Hemos pensado mucho en nuestra lista de invitados, y por cuestiones de espacio y presupuesto, nos hemos decidido por una boda pequeña e íntima, rodeados solo de nuestro círculo más cercano. Por supuesto nos encantaría poder invitar a muchas más personas, pero por el momento no podemos incluir acompañantes. Eso sí: para el Polterabend contamos con un poco más de flexibilidad, así que no duden en traer a sus parejas! Si tienen alguna duda o preocupación al respecto, por favor siéntanse libres de mandarnos un mensaje! * Wir haben lange über unsere Gästeliste nachgedacht, und aus Platz- und Budgetgründen haben wir uns entschieden, unsere Hochzeit klein und intim zu halten, nur im engsten Kreis. Es tut uns leid, dass wir nicht alle einladen können, aber zurzeit können wir keine Plus Eins einladen. Beim Polterabend jedoch, der etwas lockerer ist, könnt ihr gerne jemanden mitbringen! We know that dress codes can sometimes be confusing, so we’ve added some information about the dress code and things to consider (like the weather) in the description of each event.
