Question

Have you changed your date (again, again)?

Answer

Yep! While we got married in a ceremony with just our immediate families, we're hoping we can celebrate with all our friends and family when things open up some more.

Question

Is there parking at The Elm?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot near the venue where it will be free to park. A person from the venue will be directing cars to the lot. Please be aware that it is a little bit of a walk up a hill from the lot to the venue, so any guests who have mobility issues (or just aren't up for a light hike in their shoes!) should please be dropped off at the door before the car is parked.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We'll be staying at Hyatt Pace Inner Harbor (511 S Central Ave) where we've reserved a block of rooms. We would love for guests to join us there — information on how to book is on the Travel page of this website. If that hotel doesn't seem like the right fit for you, there are several others nearby including the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront and the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There will be some small kids at the wedding, though we don't expect many beyond those from our families. Please let us know if you're planning on bringing your little one or if you would like help finding a Baltimore-based babysitter.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony — the streets around the venue can be a little confusing and it can be easy to get momentarily lost.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The official dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire, but wear whatever you feel comfortable in! We'll be just as excited to dance with you at the reception if you're in a dress or jacket as we would be if you're in a jumpsuit or a jazzy vest.

Question

Can kids come to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes! Please feel free to bring your kids. Please just let us know ahead of time so we have an accurate head count.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yep! We've reserved some tables at Nepenthe Brewing Company, a brewery that's about a 15 minute walk from the wedding venue. Consider bringing comfortable shoes for that quick trip up a hill.

Question

Hmm ... I'm having trouble RSVPing. Any tricks?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP only enter one name. For example if you, your spouse, and your child are all invited, just enter one name and the others will pop up automatically. Also, if your full name doesn't work, but we know you by a nickname try the nickname (so if your full name is Bartholomew Smith, try Bart Smith). If this fails, just give us an email or call and we'll mark your response down :).
