FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children, however we are unable to accommodate children at any of the weekend's events. While we are unable to provide child care, we are happy to offer recommendations for some wonderful local caregivers. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a local bus company to shuttle guests from Residence Inn Downtown to the venue and back again. The busses will depart from the hotel promptly at 3:15pm. If you would prefer to use a rideshare service, it is about a 30 minute drive to the Angus Barn. Please note: Carolina Livery has requested that we inform our guests that they do not allow eating or drinking of any kind on their busses. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and will provide plenty of refreshments at the Angus Barn!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the Angus Barn. If you would like to drive your own car, please follow the signs to the pavilion and park behind the barn.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! The Angus Barn can work with any dietary restriction. Please let us know if you have any special requests or requirements when you RSVP.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a private room at the Flying Saucer in Downtown Raleigh from 9-11pm on Friday, October 18. After the wedding, please join us for cocktails at Watts and Ward, a short walk from the Residence Inn.
