August 31st
Currently, the updated COVID guidelines are as follows: If you are fully vaccinated, as a precaution, please bring proof of your vaccination (in the form of the NYS Excelsior Pass or your COVID vaccination card). You will not have to provide your vaccination card upon entry but as the guidelines are constantly changing, it's best to have it handy. Unvaccinated guests will need to show proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival to the venue. Please text me or send your results to: Allyson.Peltola@gmail.com. As everybody can transit COVID, whether vaccinated or not, please get a negative PCR test if you were at a possible COVID hot spot prior to the wedding (I.e. large gathering like a concert; airplane; CDC level 3/4 country, state or city; etc.). If you're feeling unwell prior to the event and need to cancel, please let us know. We will celebrate with you at a later date. Thanks in advance for helping us keep this event safe!
Yes! It is $150/night to secure a nanny at your rental. They are able to handle between 3-4 kids, depending on the age. All of the nannies have passed a background check and are CPR certified. They are frequently hired for weddings through HVC Ceremonies, our wedding coordinator. You can contact me to discuss further at: allyson.peltola@gmail.com. Also, if you are bringing a babysitter to the area, they are more than welcome to come to the Hudson Brewery on Friday with the kiddo(s). All are welcome! Cash food truck & bar.
No—please, please do not record the ceremony as we would like our professional wedding photos to be free from ALL electronic devices (phones, cameras, etc.). Although we love a good Instagram/Snapchat story, I doubt your followers would care to see us get married... We can take pictures, boomerangs, etc. AFTER the ceremony. Thank you in advance for keeping our ceremony "UNPLUGGED".
Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need. If you'd prefer to be on your own timeline, we recommend pre-booking your Uber as it is a small town.
Unfortunately, no—we really tried to make it work but the town is just too popular that weekend! We strongly advise booking a short term rental or a hotel on your own or with a group (the buddy system is strongly encouraged). Book your stay quickly before you miss your shot at a weekend getaway!
WARREN STREET! There will be an entire weekend of festivities so the closer to town the better!
Formal attire—suits, tuxedos & formal dresses are welcome. It may get a little chilly so be sure to bring something warm to wear.
