Question

Should I be concerned amid COVID-19?

Answer

Our hope is that this has all blown over by our new wedding date. It was a very difficult decision that wasn't made lightly but we did what was responsible and necessary. That being said, we will handle it however necessary when the time comes but are confident we will be able to keep this date. If you have concerns closer to the wedding, please contact us. Your health and safety is number one.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by June 15th for any and all events you have been invited to throughout the weekend.

What if I RSVP'D and can't make it?

Answer

Things happen and we understand that but please kindly let us know if you cannot make it or if you will be late so we can ensure a smooth sailing ceremony/reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 6:00 in the evening but we ask that you arrive with plenty of time to check in and get comfortable with a 5:30 preferred arrival time. Seating will start at 5:45 so we can start the ceremony in a timely manner.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The River House has ample and plentiful parking on site with the ability to leave your car overnight.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to be able to accommodate everyone, if you do not have a plus one we cannot have another head added. It's nothing personal, we love you all but can't go over a certain head count.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire preferred. Nothing too fancy but please no jeans, t-shirts, or hats.

What type of food will be served throughout the evening?

Answer

We will start with passed h'orderves during cocktail hour with dinner being later on. Dinner will be buffet style with plenty of options for everyone, including vegetarian, as well as accommodations to any allergies. We ask that if you have a severe allergy or dietary restriction that we are unaware of to please contact us so we can ensure you're taken care of.

Will there be drink options that are non-alcoholic?

Answer

While we will have a bar set up with alcohol, we will also have plenty of non-alcoholic choices for those that would like to skip the cocktails.

How long will the reception be?

Answer

We will do our grand sendoff at 10:30 pm after a night of celebration and dancing. For those interested, we will be headed to Meehan's Irish Pub after to celebrate but this is an optional event.

Is there plans for after the reception?

Answer

We will be having an after party at Meehan's Irish Pub downtown for those that would like to join. We will have a trolley that will carry 35 people, starting with the bride, groom, bridal party, immediate family and friends. It will come back to pick up anyone else interested. Make sure you take all your belongings or put anything in your car you don't want to bring. Remember, we encourage you to leave your car overnight!
