Historic Downtown Truckee

Take a dip in Donner Lake. There are public docks along the north side of Donner. You can also visit West End beach or walk out to China Cove on the east shore.

Donner Lake

Swim, paddle board, kayak, jet ski, or boat. Kings Beach and Tahoe City are the closest to Truckee. Highly recommend getting a wet woody at Garwoods (Wet Woody Wednesday) or dinner and drinks at Sunnyside.

Lake Tahoe

There are great hikes everywhere around the Truckee Tahoe area! Check out Brockway Summit Tahoe Rim Trailhead. Can be as short or long as you’d like, with beautiful views right away!

Tahoe Rim Trail

After the wedding, if you want to continue partying, downtown Truckee will have lots of people out due to Truckee Thursdays. It’s the perfect time to check out the downtown bars! We will have the shuttles take us from the hotel to downtown to keep the party going!!
