Written by the Bride . Our paths aligned during a night out for my 28th birthday, in March 2019 where we met for the very first time at Electric Theatre in Ackworth. Jokingly, I remember saying to my Dad I might meet my future husband tonight...and that's exactly what happened, I manifested my husband lol Seven years later, here we are getting married in one of the most special places to us. We are both also truly lucky to be able to say we have those friends and family who were with us on the night we met, there with us at the wedding. We went on our very first of many adventures together , in July 2019 to Sorrento. Now it only makes sense to come back and tie the knot where it all began. Whilst holidaying in Sorrento, we completely fell in love with the breath taking views, magical sunsets, winding cobbled streets, the pretty marina, delicious food and giant lemons. We even visited the Cloisters one evening and walked all way around it and I can remember us saying WOW. It was like stepping into an enchanted fairy tale. I was so blown away with it I took a video and a photograph of Todd sitting underneath the arches, oblivious we would return 7 years later to say our vows to each other under those very arches. I can also remember walking past the Cloisters during the day to go to the beach and seeing a newly wed couple step out of the Cloisters . with confetti been thrown in the air. No idea that one day that would be the two of us stepping out into the cobbled streets of Sorrento with all of our close loved ones around us as MR & MRS WILLIAMSON The thought of this gives me goose bumps, that sometimes life has a way of showing you a tiny glimmer of your future and everything you have to look forward to. We have made our earliest and most unforgettable, precious memories here, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was in the heart of Sorrento that we discovered our love to travel and explore the world together. So when it came to choosing where to get married, there was nowhere else that felt more perfect. We have even chose to stay in the same hotel Conca Park as we loved it so much. Two years ago, we got engaged on The Palm in Dubai, adding another beautiful chapter to our story, and now we’re so excited to celebrate the next one with all of you in Sorrento. After 2 years of planning the big day is almost here. One last thing...8 is our lucky number. We were both born on the 8th and during our relationship the number 8 has always presented itself to us in positive encounters. Naturally, it makes sense that we incorporate this into our wedding somehow. Keep your eyes peeled for the connection.
