Swiping through Tinder looking for a Friday night date! I came across Tod's profile and it showed that he was friends with my old high school friend, Stacy, that I hadn't seen in ages! So I swiped right! After that first date, there was a spark there that I couldn't deny - and believe me, I tried to deny it! I wasn't looking for anything serious, I wasn't really settled in Kelowna and had various work contracts that would take me out of town for extended periods of time. Date nights were late night FaceTime conversations! Dates became excursions! It became obvious that we just enjoyed doing all the same things together with a love for travel and golf!

February 19th, 2016....... A day that will live in infamy....err It was a dark and stormy night.....err It was a Friday and I was hoping to connect with someone and have a fun date night as I was taking the weekend off in Kelowna. I was checking out Tinder when I came upon Michelle's profile. We had a mutual connection, Stacy Paterson. At first I was a bit reluctant to swipe right, but her profile showed that she was a down to earth and fun person. Once I swiped right there was an immediate "You Matched" message that popped up. It was a great first date, Michelle showed me around Kelowna after we finished dinner and we even spent some time at the casino downtown. It was nice to meet someone that enjoyed many of the same things I did and laughed at all my corny jokes.
