What are some things to do while I’m in Detroit?

Answer

• Take a drive down Jefferson Ave. Once outside of Detroit and entering into the Grosse Points area, there are beautiful homes to see and Lake St Claire where on a clear day you can see over to Canada. • Enjoy some Detroit style pizza. • Cruise M1 also known as Woodward Avenue. There are a few great little towns to explore such as Ferndale, Royal Oak and Birmingham. • Go see Ford Field and Comerica Park.

Fly vs Drive

• The main Detroit airport (DTW) is approximately 30 mins from downtown Detroit. • Rental vs Uber - this depends greatly on if you want to explore outside the city or not. Uber and Lyft prices vary depending on the time. If you do not think you want to drive very much and want to explore on foot then a car service such as Lyft or uber is probably best as you won’t have to pay to park your vehicle. • it is strongly encouraged that you ask about parking your vehicle when making lodging accommodations!

Where do I park for the wedding?

There will be FREE garage parking located at: Comerica Garage 50 W. Montcalm, Detroit Please choose “OTHER ACCESS CODE” on the screen and use code 6577 to park. From the garage you will have a short walk to the beautiful Colony Club venue where you will be greeted by a door man who will help guide you to the Grand Ballroom.

Can I buy a gift not on the registry?

Absolutely. If you need their address to send a package reach out to Zach/Toby.

How do I know who is invited to the wedding?

Answer

Most invitations and Save The Dates will have the names of those who are invited. If you are unsure please reach out to Zach and Toby for clarification. As they would love to be able to allow more guests, food and venue space is planned for an exact number of attendees.
