What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Our wedding is black-tie optional. Our ceremony will be held outside and there will be a bit of walking between the ceremony and reception so please plan accordingly.

Are there any colors I should avoid when picking out my outfit?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride (white, ivory, cream, etc.) to the wedding ceremony and reception. Anything else is welcomed!

Where do I park?

Answer

If you are staying in our hotel block, the wedding venue is conveniently located just a 5 minute walk away. If you are driving, you can park in the Jax Brewery parking lot right next to the venue. The address is 500 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.

Can I bring a guest or a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus, one their name will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. Our venue requires that guests be 21+.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 23rd, 2025 by clicking on the RSVP tab in the menu above. You will be able to RSVP once you have received your formal invitation.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you are not able to make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4 PM. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to find your seat.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. Please turn off your phone and put it away. We promise to share the professional photos with you once they're available! You are welcome to take pictures at any other point in the day.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

There will be an open bar from 5-8 PM. If you are feeling extra celebratory, you are welcome to buy drinks until 10 PM.
