Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located in Southeast Austin. At Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, most major airlines—including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines—operate out of the main Barbara Jordan Terminal. There used to be a seperate south terminal but that has been closed so ignore anything you read online about it.

Austin has tons of options for Uber, Lyft (and Waymo, if you dare!), which will get you to any wedding weekend event easily. You are also welcome to rent a car! Parking at the hotels can be pricey so we reccomend aviding renting a car unless you are staying somewhere else.

Hotel Blocks & Airbnb options

We have several hotel blocks you can choose from. For families who prefer Airbnb, we recommend looking in the Arboretum area, Northwest Hills, Steiner Ranch, or Lakeway—all of which are beautiful, convenient, and close to the main events. The Arboretum area in particular offers easy access to shops and restaurants, while the others provide more of a scenic, residential feel near Lake Travis. If you’d rather be closer to the city’s energy—restaurants, music, and walkable areas—neighborhoods like Downtown Austin, South Congress, or East Austin are great options, though they’re typically a 20–35 minute drive to the main events depending on traffic.
