The easiest option is Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), which is about 25–40 minutes from where most of the weekend events will take place. In theory, you can also fly into San Antonio International Airport (about 1.5 hours away), George Bush Intercontinental Airport or William P. Hobby Airport (about 2.5–3 hours), or Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (about 3 hours). Just keep in mind you’ll likely want to rent a car if you choose one of these.
You can either rent a car or simply use rideshares. Austin is spread out, and the events will be in the Northwest Hills / Lake Travis area, which isn’t very walkable.
Most of the weekend events will be within 10–25 minutes of each other around the Lake Travis area, but if you stay downtown or in more central neighborhoods, plan for about a 20–35 minute drive depending on traffic.
Cocktail. It’s October in Austin, which usually means warm during the day and more comfortable in the evening—so lighter fabrics are great, but you might want a layer just in case. Since the ceremony is by Lake Travis, keep in mind you may be on grass or uneven ground when choosing shoes.
