Mount Rubidoux Park
Natural terrain for great 3 mile hike with a view, centered around a giant white cross at the summit.
UC Riverside Botanic Gardens
Located in the foothills of the Box Springs Mountains on the east side of the University of California, Riverside Campus, the Gardens covers 40 hilly acres. Enjoy the beauty of the gardens, wander the four miles of scenic trails, or just relax on a bench and enjoy the vistas.
Riverside Art Museum
Located in the historic Mission Inn district this architecturally significant 1929 building was designed by Hearst Castle and award-winning architect Julia Morgan. This is an art museum that engages, inspires, and builds community by presenting thought-provoking exhibits that instill a lifelong love of the arts.

Palm Springs, CA
Just a 1 hour drive east of Riverside. You will be so close! Worth the trip! Palm Springs is known for its golf courses, hot springs, stylish hotels and spas, and of course shopping and mid-century-modern architecture.
Universal Studios Hollywood
1 hr. to 1hr. 20 mins west of Riverside toward LA! We went to City walk, which is the food court/entertainment portion prior to entering the park, for our first date! Needless to say we had a blast! Some food recommendations: Vivo (Italian) has great drinks and Antojitos (Mexican) has a great vibe+Burrito!
Griffith Observatory
1 hour west of Riverside toward LA. If you are into hikes with a killer view or simply want to drive up and see the LA area from up high, the Observatory is worth a visit! On a clear day you can see the Hollywood sign, 3 different city views (LA/Beverly Hills) and even the beach!
The J Paul Getty Museum
1 hr. & 15 mins west of Riverside toward LA. Looking over Topanga Hills this is an amazing museum with something for everyone: art, modern design, unique gardens, and spectacular city views! Well worth the visit!
Newport Beach
1 hour west of Riverside toward LA. There are so many beaches to enjoy, even in December! Some of our favorites are Malibu, Newport, Laguna, and Huntington Beach. Please feel free to reach out with questions for individual recommendations. We would love to join you if possible!
Chin Chin West Hollywood
1 hr. & 30 mins. west of Riverside towards LA! This is our go-to Chinese spot. We love the Sunset Blvd drive and the people watching! It's family style but we like our own plates ahaha. Natalie's favorite is Anthony's pasta and Paul's is everything! Mama Trevino loves it too!
Dodger Stadium
1 hour west of Riverside toward LA! Baseball is not in season but there are SO many sports teams to check out in LA! So-fi stadium is a beauty and of course the home of the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena :)
