Maid of Honor
Brittany has been my best friend since 4th Grade. Our relationship kicked off when we first played barbies and we hit it off from there. Even though she made me have to throw all my Barbie’s away! (She left them outside to get moldy..kidding we both did) She lived just down the street from me and if I was not at her house, she was at mine. We would roam the neighborhood, name rabbits, play in the basement of a old burnt down abandoned building, we’d venture to the park or find trashed furniture and make hideouts in the woods of her backyard. Side note: I will never forget when we played in the burned down abandoned apartment basements: Brittany and I would jump into them and stack bricks to get out. She jumped in one time and she hung on the wall like a picture. This was so hilarious to me. Now a days Brittany and I usually find a new adventure every other weekend. We are always trying to find things to do, whether it be spa days at home or traveling to near by cities. I always have an amazing time and she is such a fun, outgoing person to be around. She has been there for me when I have need her and vise versa. She is a loyal, reliable friend and those are hard to come by. I love her dearly and I am very appreciative of her friendship.
Best Man
Lewis is the one of the most meaningful people in my life. We met at the Cherry Valley Sportsman’s club that our parents frequented. We used to walk the creek and fish the pond where the drain tube was. During winter, we would see who could walk across the ice without breaking it. We would both end up wet and shivering. From getting frisked in the teen tent at CV days, ice fishing the Blue Hole to wading behind Lee’s house, or even taking a 1995 Silverado 4X4 through the middle of the Kishwaukee river. We have made memories most will never experience. He has had 2 brand new wheelers and I was the first to flip both of them. I still feel bad. He has been by my side and has kept me in check for the past 20+ years. He has supported me in everything I’ve ever done. When no one on earth believed in me, he did and he never gave up on me. If he had given up, my life would be very different. I am eternally grateful for our relationship. I love him with all of my heart and I forever will.
Bridesmaid
Malorie has been my friend since middle school. She is such a kind person and is always thinking of others. She has been there for for my son and I for years. She would do anything for us and we appreciate her more than she knows. Malorie and I are the only people I know of that have still have sleepovers haha. We have movie nights, talk, do crafts (we may still do some coloring - adult coloring), make tasty treats, window shop…ALLOT, etc. She absolutely loves making chocolate covered pretzels with me around Halloween time (like 400 of them). We love placing each sprinkle one by one hah. She is one of the people who literally knows me inside and out. She sometimes even knows what I am thinking and what I am going to say, it’s weird. Sometimes I will be texting her something and she has texted me the same thing at the same time. We are definitely in sync with one another most of the time. I love her very much.
Groomsman
Jake is not a man of many words but every word he says has meaning and he means them with all of his heart. He is one of the most loyal and daring people I’ve ever known. In 2016 He committed to quitting his career as a union worker which he had a great income and a clear successful future in. He took this risk with me and on me while having no certainty. He has dedicated himself and has been one of the most monumental pillars in our company. We have grown together personally and professionally. I look forward to seeing him each and every day. We golf when we can, we share a softball diamond every Friday night, and throw horseshoes at Gorsuch ranch. I am thankful to have him in my life and I look forward to what we continue to build together.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I have been friends since high school. We hung out almost every single day during high school. Her parents would call and wonder where she was at because she would stay at my house for days. You would either find us in my room, which was the entire basement, making nachos, or wondering the neighborhood with our friends. We definitely spent allot of time outside or at the park as well. I even dragged her to see a WWE show when we were younger, which might I say was one of the best shows I have seen. We are always laughing and having a great time. Nicole is one of those people that even though you do not see one another often, when you see them again it feels like we never missed a beat. We could go months without speaking or seeing one another and it still feels the same when we talk again. She has such a pure heart and I love her very much. She is and always will be, my breath of fresh air.
Groomsman
Ive know Mitch since he was 12 years old. We were playing a little game of catch while Jake was playing and I was riding the pine on the baseball team because I was not a very skilled baseball player. I’ve watched Mitch grow as a father, as an employee and as a friend. I enjoy playing softball with him, watch McGregor fight in Vegas, golfing and fishing.
Bridesmaid
Kelli and I became friends through work. She and I are very similar people, but different enough to where we do not go at each other (not too much). She has a very kind soul and cares deeply about people and her career. She definitely has a sassy side, as do I. She definitely “IS NICE” as she says. She has definitely shown that she really cares for me and has really looked out for me. I can see she has a loving heart. She also loves to travel and try to plan new experiences/adventures. We definitely have already gone on some and have some planned. We have to plan more though! I really appreciate the friendship that has developed because there are not many truly genuine people in this world. I am thankful we can separate work and friendship and have great communication. I trust her to tell me how it is and vise versa. She is a beautiful person inside and out.
Groomsman
Dan Puckett has taught me so much about life and maturity. I thought I was a grown up until spending real time with him. He has experienced the highest highs and lowest lows and has come back to his feet every time. Every one of our talks are from the heart. We speak the truth and we fight for the truth and ALWAYS walk away as friends. Our bond is strong by us being this raw and honest with each other.
Mother of the Bride
Meet Tierra's Momma! My mother has been my rock throughout life. No matter what bad things happen or the people that have come and gone, she’s the one that has always been there. My brother Adam and I know that if we need her, whether it be in person or just advice or just to ask she for the 500th time how to cook chicken, she will drop what she is doing and be there. She has always made sure we never went without. She has brought us on numerous vacations, always made Christmas so very special and was always honest with us. She has always worked very hard for her children and still would do anything for us even until this day. Her hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed. She is a strong, independent, beautiful soul that I deeply admire. She has helped my navigate through life of being a mother, friend, and just being a decent human being. I love her and appreciate her tremendously. Love you momma!
Mother of the Groom
My mother and Spike took me camping when I was a boy. She would lie on the river bank reading a Louie Lemoore wester book waiting for a big fish to bite. The hot spots were the sewer hole or the high bank. She named me Teague, which she found in an Irish book. Teague is Gaelic for “poet” As a boy we didn’t have much. She drove me to and from school (stopping by the Oakview restaurant) every day in a 1970, C10, 3 on the tree pick’em up truck. If she was running late to work, we would hit our heads on the roof going over the double railroad tracks on south Perryville. When I was 8 years old a famous song came out called heads Carolina. She in fact, flipped a coin and took me on a trip to Carolina. She later took me to Canada and exposed me to the greatest fishing the world has ever known. I can’t say she has done everything right as a parent. I can absolutely say she has loved me with all of her heart and she has done her very best as a parent. The last song her and I sang duet karaoke to was “Picture” at the Winnebago county fair grounds. She always enjoyed the limelight of a fierce karaoke contest at Shooters East. I still hear he singing in my head from time to time.
Father of the Bride
Meet Tierra's daddio! I am so glad that we have developed the relationship we have today. He is an amazing person and cares so much for others. I look up to him in my life and in business. He has taught me allot about business, and maybe Teague too. My brother and I really appreciate the time we had at my dads waterbed store (Anything Wood). We talk about those days very often. Our childhood was pretty fun together on the days we were there. Whether it was cleaning the entire store for $5 each, eating next door at Gill's diner, or watching Shrek for the 17th time, it was always a great time. He has always been a very hard worker and we all greatly appreciate him. Even when times are stressful for him, he rarely lets it show. He is a goofy, intelligent, kind and patient man. I love and appreciate him very much.
