Mike: She ran game on me. So it was a spring field trip to Yorktown beach and we were collecting items for our assignment. In the midst of the conversation she thought my astrological sign was something totally different and when I stated I was a Sagittarius she stated that she was one too. She asked me when my birthday was and come to find out hers is the day after mine. That’s how we connected. Tiff: I was really into the astrology so I hit him with that "what’s your name? What’s your sign?" but I didn't run any game on him. I probably asked everyone on that field trip his or her sign! I remember running into him after school a week or two later and he just received his license. Next thing I know he is picking me up for school, we were talking on the phone everyday and he became my first boyfriend.

Mike: She scheduled her graduation photo shoot to celebrate receiving her Ph.D. and I felt it was the perfect time to propose. I've been holding on to her engagement ring for a year and it was time to get it on her finger. So while she was taking her photos, I made sure that at the end of the photo shoot I proposed. Tiff: I had no idea and this was by far the biggest surprise of my life! For once, I was speechless but I made sure to say YES!
