What date should I RSVP by?

You can easily RSVP online right here under the RSVP tab. It's quick, easy, and there's no need to mail anything back!

Is there a shuttle provided?

Answer

Yes! Due to a rally being held on the Capitol steps the day of our wedding, parking near the ceremony will be extremely limited. To ensure everyone arrives safely and on time, we are providing transportation for all guests throughout the day. How does the shuttle work? We will have a trolley and mini motor coaches running a continuous loop for the following routes: • Before the Ceremony: From the King Mansion and the Hilton Harrisburg to the Capitol. • After the Ceremony: From the Capitol back to the King Mansion for the reception. • After the Reception: From the Mansion back to the Hilton for overnight guests. Where should I park? To keep things simple, please park based on your lodging plans: • Overnight Guests: Please park at the Hilton Harrisburg prior to the ceremony, where you can catch the shuttle to the ceremony. • Commuting Guests: Please park at the King Mansion, where you can catch the shuttle to the ceremony. When will I know the exact pickup times? We are finalizing the logistics now! We will provide a detailed schedule for the shuttles. Check back here soon for the specific timing.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at the Main Rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol, located at 501 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17120. The reception will follow at the King Mansion, located at 2201 N Front St, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Both venues are wheelchair accessible, and we'll have clear signage on-site to guide you.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Doors open 30 minutes before the ceremony. We kindly ask all guests to arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow time to get settled before we begin.

What’s the wedding itinerary?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with you! The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour and then the reception, concluding at 10:30 PM. For a more detailed breakdown, please check our Schedule page.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

No major gaps here! Our cocktail hour begins immediately after the ceremony at King Mansion, so you won't need to go far. Please refer to the Schedule tab for the reception location's address.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

We recommend flying into Harrisburg International Airport, which is the most convenient to our venue and hotel. It’s about 25 minutes away by car or ride-share.

What’s the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code is black-tie optional. Please come dressed accordingly—we promise it will be a stylish and memorable evening!

Both our ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Come hungry! We'll have delicious hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner with options for meat, fish, and a vegan/gluten-free selection.

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. Your presence at our celebration is truly the greatest gift to us! However, if you wish to provide a monetary gift, there will be a designated spot at the reception. Please know that this is completely optional and not expected.

No additional events are planned at this time beyond the wedding day festivities.

The reception will end by 10:30 PM, but the celebration continues! Please join us for an after-party at the Hilton.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

Our wedding will take place in Harrisburg, PA, in March, which means early spring weather with mild and sometimes unpredictable conditions. You can expect daytime temperatures to typically range from the mid-40s to low 50s (°F), with cooler evenings in the upper 20s to mid-30s. March can bring some rain, so we recommend bringing a light jacket and possibly an umbrella just in case. Snow is less common but not impossible, so layering is a good idea! Overall, the season offers fresh, crisp air and increasing daylight, perfect for enjoying the day and exploring Harrisburg before or after the celebration.
