We're getting married!

Our story begins like all the best modern love stories — with a dating app, a spontaneous plan, and a whole lot of curiosity. On February 18, 2023, after just a few hours of texting, we decided to meet in person at The Brownstone Lounge in Harrisburg. What we thought would be a casual drink turned into a night-long conversation filled with laughter, stories, and instant connection. Steven didn’t get home until 5:00 a.m., and honestly? That pretty much set the tone for our relationship — time just seems to fly when we’re together. In the weeks that followed, we bonded over our love of good food (Cork and Fork in Harrisburg quickly became a mutual favorite), music (from R&B and country to pop hits), and sharing iced coffee orders that are as different as we are — TJ’s is sweet and creamy with hazelnut, while Steven takes his black with a swirl of caramel. We went on dates, explored cities like Philly and D.C., and tried new restaurants — TJ introduced Steven to Cork & Fork and First Post, while Steven brought his love of Ocean Prime into the mix. Then, on April 8, 2023, Steven asked TJ to officially be his boyfriend. TJ said yes — and that date became one we’d never forget. Exactly one month later on May 8 2023, during a weekend getaway to the National Harbor, we took a ride on the capital ferris wheel at the pier. As we reached the top, Steven, heart racing, looked over and said, “I love you.” TJ didn’t hesitate — “I love you too. Over time, our lives became more intertwined. On June 13, 2024, TJ asked Steven to move in. The answer? An easy, heartfelt yes. Whether we were decorating together, debating which playlist to put on (TJ leaning into pop and R&B, Steven adding EDM and oldies), or sipping coffee during cozy mornings, being together just felt like home. That feeling followed us all the way to Cancun, Mexico — where on a warm, breezy evening, we each decided to propose. Yes, both! No grand production, just a perfect, unplanned moment by Steven but TJ had a planned moment that captured everything we love about our relationship: joy, spontaneity, and mutual love. On April 8, 2025 — two years to the day since our first “yes” — we said yes again. Now, we’re getting ready for the next big adventure — our wedding in March 2026, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. TJ brings the spark — he’s got a soft spot for Thanksgiving food, lilys, orchids, and spontaneous trips to cities with good vibes and even better food. His taste in music is always on point — a perfect mix of pop, country, today’s hits, and smooth R&B — and he has an uncanny knack for finding the perfect restaurant for every occasion. Steven adds the warmth — with a heart full of Christmas cheer, a love for roses, sunflowers and strong coffee, and a presence that’s steady, laid-back, and effortlessly classic. His music taste is a perfect blend of timeless old-school jams, energetic EDM, smooth R&B, and the kind of songs you didn’t know you needed until he played them. And when it comes to seafood? He always knows where to find the best bite. Together, we’re creating a life filled with laughter, travel adventures, and a shared passion for discovering new places—and new plates. Between deep conversations, spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen, and way too much time spent debating where to eat next, we’re loving every moment.
