We are getting married!

We are delighted for you to join us in paradise to celebrate our special day! We first met during our sophomore year of high school — though “met” might be a stretch. We had a few classes together, but didn’t really talk. Honestly, Madelyn thought TJ was just the goofiest guy in school, and TJ thought Madelyn was way out of his league. So, we kept our distance and lived in our own worlds… until senior year. That’s when everything changed. We ran into each other at a party, and for the first time, actually talked without TJ copying Maddie's Math homework. It wasn’t anything crazy or dramatic, just a simple conversation that somehow turned into a night full of laughing and getting to know each other. From that night on, something between us just clicked. We’ve been together ever since. After high school, we continued our relationship through college, navigating all the ups and downs that came with growing up — together. We learned each other’s quirks, like how TJ can sing almost every 2000s pop hit at full volume, or how Madelyn can tell what TJ is thinking just by the look on his face. One unforgettable trip in 2018 really solidified our bond. TJ brought Madelyn to Lahaina, his "second home," and showed her the elegance and beauty of a place so dear to him. From that point on, visiting Maui became a cherished tradition for us, and our love for each other—and for this special island—grew even more with each visit. Through it all, we’ve grown into each other’s best friends and biggest supporters. We've laughed a lot, cried a little, and shared more love than we ever expected to find. We’ve built a life together full of memories and inside jokes, late-night talks and early-morning workouts, and an endless sense of "home" — wherever we are, as long as we’re together. After 9 years, we’re more excited than ever to take this next step. We can't wait to celebrate our love with the people who’ve meant the most to us. Here’s to forever. — TJ & Madelyn
