Oglebay has two beautiful 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9-hole Par 3 course on property.
Schenk Lake
Located in the heart of Oglebay Park, Schenk Lake provides a variety of activities for guests of all ages. From pedal boating, kayaking, miniature golf, fishing, and more!
The West Spa
Located in Oglebay’s Wilson Lodge, the West Spa is a luxurious sanctuary offering best-in-class spa services. Reservations are recommended two weeks in advance for all services.
The Good Zoo
Oglebay has it's very own zoo on property! Take a walk on the wild side at the Good Zoo and observe more than 50 species of animals, 20 of which are rare or endangered.
Walking & Hiking Trails
Experience the beauty of Oglebay on foot as you stroll along 4.5 miles of paved walking trails which weave throughout the park. Benches along the trails provide a perfect resting place where you can relax and take in the sights. Many of the original trails have also been restored and groomed into hiking trails. Guests can explore these historic trails and take in majestic views of Oglebay’s landscape.
Swimming Pool
The Indoor Pool at Wilson Lodge is available to all lodge and cottage guests year-round and features a jacuzzi and sauna. The Outdoor Pool, located at Oglebay's Crispin Center, features inflatables, a climbing rock wall, and the Fountains of Fun Splash & Spray attraction.
Aerial Challenge Course
Test your physical and mental toughness with exhilarating rope walks, obstacles and climbs at Oglebay's own aerial challenge course.
Horseback Riding
Oglebay’s stable is open daily, offering lessons, trail rides, and barn tours. Reservations are required for all trail rides and lessons.
Mansion Museum
For the history buff, Oglebay Institute offers educational tours of the elegant estate of Cleveland industrialist Earl W. Oglebay, who purchased the mansion and surrounding acres in 1900 to serve as a summer home.
Glass Museum
Experience live glassworking demonstrations and over 3,000 examples of Wheeling glass made from 1829-1939, including the largest piece of cut lead crystal ever made: The Sweeney Punch Bowl.
