The ceremony will be held outside at the Formal Gardens on property at Oglebay Resort. The Formal Gardens is located next to the Mansion Museum. Cocktail hour and reception will be held at the Pine Room, which is located next to the Crispin Golf Course. In case of inclement weather, a backup ceremony location will be determined and communicated the day of.
Yes! We have reserved a Trolley that will pick guests up starting at 3:00 PM outside the Wilson Lodge and shuttle to the ceremony. Following the ceremony, the Trolley will shuttle guests to the Pine Room and will also be available at the end of the night to take guests back to the Wilson Lodge and Cottages.
We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the ceremony begins (around 3:30 PM) to make sure everyone is on time. The Trolley will run from 3:00-3:45 PM.
If choosing to drive to the wedding, there are parking lots nearby at both the ceremony and reception locations.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
