Our wedding weekend just happens to be the opening weekend for the Texas State Fair! You can meet Big Tex, go to a rodeo, and try your favorite foods but deep fried! Including fried butter, fried beer, and Texas easter eggs, fried potato salad, and friend guacamole!

Texas State Fair

Beautiful hiking trail, rock climbing areas, and a lake to swim in! Also, this is where he proposed!!!

Mineral Wells State Park

Ranked as the 2nd best zoo in the nation! Feed giraffes and stingrays by hand, ride a train along the trinity river and so much more. Definitely enjoyable for both kids and adults.

Fort Worth Zoo

Want your picture with a Texas longhorn or visit the site where they filmed part of Yellowstone? This is the place to be! Grab lunch at the famous Joe T Garcia's too (cash only).
