Ty moved from South Dakota to West Texas in 2018 to work as an electrician. After bouncing around that desolate area for about a year, he got the opportunity to take a job down in Corpus Christi starting in October. He had already made the transition to the RV lifestyle, so all that was left was to find a park to move into. After asking a few other coworkers about RV parks in that area, he decided on Colonia Del Ray, only eight minutes from the beach! He was able to grab the last available spot for that month. After parking the trailer, his dog Ruby needed a potty break and wanted to check out their new home. Being a momma’s boy, Ty called his mom to let her know they made it to Corpus Christi safe a sound. Judy was about to start her last semester of college at TAMUCC. The previous semester she had moved into an RV and made Colonia Del Rey home for her and her dog Lilly. After being gone all summer with a study abroad, an internship, and other travels, there were a lot of new faces when she got back to Corpus that September. As she was unpacking her car, she spotted a large red dog being walked by an attractive young man. Her dog Lilly suddenly had the urge to go on a walk. They met at the dog poop station. Ruby and Lilly got along instantly. Ty was a little occupied on the phone, but they got to talk more on their first date at the dog park. Depending on who you ask, the first date didn’t happen until later that week when they shared their first kiss star gazing on the top of Judy’s RV.
