Shuttle Information - Wedding Day

Parking at the venue is extremely limited. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the shuttle bus provided. We and the venue owners kindly ask you to leave your cars at the hotel. Shuttle Bus Departure Times: From Vinland Hotel to Venue | 3:00pm | 3:45pm From Venue to Vinland Hotel | 9:00pm | 9:45pm From Venue to After Party | 10:30pm From After Party to Vinland Hotel 12:00am | 1:30am

Flight

Santa Barbara Airport

SBA is going to be the closest airport to fly into. Although flights are limited, you can usually find a connecting flight heading to Santa Barbara from most major airports. You will need to rent a car, but the drive is only about 45 minutes to Solvang.

Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is another good option for flights. Although the drive is a bit longer, you will have many more options for flight times and connections. You will need to rent a car from here and drive about 3-3.5 hours to Solvang. DO NOT BOOK WITH BUDGET RENTAL CARS! We have heard some horror stories about this particular LAX Budget location. It is no good!

Flight

San Luis Obispo County Airport

Another airport option! You will need to rent a car and drive south from SLO. However, the drive is only about an hour and fifteen minutes if you do not want to deal with the LA traffic.

Train

Amtrak Train

There is an Amtrak train that runs from LA Union Station up to Santa Barbara. This is not a bad option if you do not want to drive through LA traffic. You will still need a ride or a car to transport you from Santa Barbara to Solvang.
