It's time to party!

Their story begins just as any classic, romantic, love story starts... swiping on Hinge. After a successful match, Jared was quick to the point, "Let's grab drinks." Instead, Tivoli agreed to meet JJ at her favorite spot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Paulie Gee's Pizza. Now, this was Tivoli's favorite spot for first dates. It was trendy, had fantastic vegan pizza, and was conveniently only ten minutes from her apartment. Perfect. Having a type A personality and always running early to events, Tivoli specifically chose to run a little behind for her date with Jared, not knowing that Jared had a very strict 15-minute rule for his first dates. Meaning, if his date was more than 15 minutes late, he would, without hesitation, leave. Well... luckily, Tivoli was only 7 minutes late. The two sat together at the bar, talking over beer and pizza for over 4 hours. Finally, it was time to go. Jared insisted on walking Tivoli back to her apartment in hopes of getting a little end of the night smooch. However, on this fine, somewhat warm, winter's day, the weather was due to shift around 6pm. Tivoli, being prepared as always, packed a hat, scarf, and long winter coat. There was no way she was going to freeze on her walk home. But, Jared on the other hand, being the "mountain boy" he was, chose not to even bring a jacket along with him on his date. As they walked arm-in-arm down the Brooklyn sidewalk, Tivoli could sense that Jared was freezing his butt off, but, every time she would look over at him, he would tense up and pretend that he wasn't shivering more and more with every step. He proclaimed, "I'm from Colorado, I'm used to the cold." Tivoli rolled her eyes and offered up her scarf. But, he refused. Once reaching her front door, she let Jared steal a first kiss as he waited for his Uber ride home. And now, after more than 5 years, one global pandemic, a 4 years in their favorite apartment, and a cross country move back to Colorado, they are tying the knot!
