Maid of Honor
Runner. Compassionate. It was summer of 2017 when Dr. Kamen had his Innovative Schools class in NYC. Three SU education majors boarded a plane and toured innovative schools in NYC. Sarah was one of these sweet ladies. We survived New York smells, traffic, haunted hotels, and a crazy head master. We stayed in touch and eventually went back to NYC. We grew really close my super senior year. The rest is history and she’ll be standing alongside me on one of the best days of my life.
Maid of Honor
Theatrical. Singer. Dr. Kamen is back at it with introducing us. NYC round two but this time we’re presenting our findings from our innovative schools class in NYC and the central Texas area. Spending the weekend in a cramped NYC apartment and performing in front of strangers can really bring two people together. Upon returning to campus we bonded over being in long distance relationships, hitting the dance floor, and trying to survive “sweating for the wedding” gym time. Now it’s time to hit the dance floor and celebrate!!
Bridesmaid
Fashionista. Artist. Southwestern housing brought us together together. We survived freshman year together as suite mates and continued this tradition through sophomore year. As juniors and seniors we shared the finer things in a life, one being an apartment. I could not have survived four of my five years of college without Meranda. We’ve seen it all with one another.
Bridesmaid
Dancer. Stylish. She’s beauty. She’s grace. She’s the best future sister in law. She’s Chris’s little sister with some killer dance moves. She just graduated high school and will be attending UNT in the fall. She was there when I picked out what would be my future wedding dress and said, “ehh I don’t really like that part but I’ll try it on.” And she helped model the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses that I picked out. I can’t imagine having a more perfect sister in law!
Best Man
Trouble. I met Nick going into middle school, but didn’t really get to know him until our high school years. From then on though we became great friends, became roommates in college, and even traveled to Canada to meet our new friend Jacob together. Nick is an incredible friend, and I’m excited that he’ll be my best man for the wedding.
Groomsman
Chemist. Exactly like with Nick, I met Mark when I was entering my middle school years. We were in band together all throughout high school, and made a lot of great memories. Even though we haven’t seen each other in a while, It’ll be awesome to see him again after over a year for the wedding.
Groomsman
Musician. William and I have known each other since kindergarten. We played in bands together throughout our teenage years, and have spent countless hours together playing music together. We’ve been friends for over twenty years now and I’m glad that he’ll be one of my groomsmen.
Groomsman
Canadian Coca-Cola Lover. Jacob and I probably have the most unique friendship. Nick and I met him online playing video games about 8 years ago. We had such a great time talking to each other online, that Nick and I actually went up and visited him in Canada a few times during the summer. Whether it’s online or in real life, we have a great time together. I’m ecstatic that Jacob will be able to join me for my big day.
