Listed in Amy and Ethan's preferential order, LGA is the newest and most conveniently located, while Newark can often offer a few additional flight options however is located in New Jersey. Airport Transportation Options: - Uber, Lyft, or Taxi (Recommended if visiting for the first time) - Public Transportation (LGA: Q70 Airport Link Bus > Subway; JFK: JFK AirTrain > Subway; Newark: Newark AirTrain > Newark Airport Railroad Station NEC to Penn Station > Subway)

Travel Note

Travel by Subway

If you're new to NYC, welcome! While Ubers, Lyfts, and Taxis are easily accessible, the best (and often quickest) way to travel in NYC is by subway. No need to memorize the subway lines - type your destination into Google or Apple maps, select the "Public Transportation" option, and it'll tell you exactly which subway line to take and which stop to get off! All subway stations are now equipped to take Apple Pay or tap cards - so you also will not need to purchase a paper card if you have those options enabled.

Accommodation Information

There are unlimited options on where to stay in NYC! Whether you want something close and convenient to everything there is to see in NYC, or something a bit quieter a little further out, there's something for everyone! Don't be afraid to look into the outer boroughs either - while not Manhattan, they can often be closer to some of NYC's best locations than staying in the city. That said, Amy and Ethan have held room blocks at the three hotels below to get you started. If looking on your own, we recommend before booking that you use Google/Apple maps to estimate the time it takes to travel from your hotel to the venue (and other locations you're going to see while in the city!). Anything over ~45 minutes (or more than 3 train switches!) is likely too far - don't be surprised, 2 miles in NYC is a lot farther than in other places! Feel free to ask Amy and Ethan if you have any questions, or would like a POV on whether a place to stay is in a good spot - we're happy to help.
