Things To Do

Below are our recos for a way to spend a day in NYC seeing the sights, as well as a couple of our personal favorite places to go. We hope you have so much fun, and thank you again for joining us for this special weekend!
Amy & Ethan's Custom Day In New York Tour!

Amy & Ethan's Custom Day In New York Tour!

If you have an extra day over the weekend and would like an extra day of exploring, we've put together a Google Map of a walking tour (also accessible via Subway) that takes you to some of NYC's most iconic destinations.

Cafe Wha?

Cafe Wha?

115 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012

One of our favorite spots in the city, Cafe Wha is a staple of the West Village in Manhattan. Featuring the best house band around, you'll experience the best covers of classic hits, from pop music to classic rock to latin. A bonus reason to go and a warning all in one - the drinks are poured heavy!

Marie's Crisis Café

Marie's Crisis Café

59 Grove Street, New York, NY 10014

Amy's favorite, Ethan's least - for all our theatre friends out there, you won't experience anything like this anywhere else. A piano bar nestled in the West Village, the only music you'll hear here are Broadway hits and deep cuts. Cash only and no talking during the songs, but singing along (in harmony, if you know it!) is recommended.

Brooklyn Heights Promenade

Brooklyn Heights Promenade

Pierrepont Place, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201

If you're looking for great views of the city, it doesn't get better than this! A sprawling park along the water will give you unobstructed views of Manhattan all the way to the Statue of Liberty. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops are nestled in between some of Brooklyn's most beautiful brownstones. A great starting or ending point if you're looking to walk the iconic Brooklyn Bridge!

Levain Bakery – Original Location, 74th St, NYC

Levain Bakery – Original Location, 74th St, NYC

167 West 74th Street, New York, NY 10023

The absolute best cookie shop in the city - if you're visiting some of NYC's finest museums during your trip, would highly recommend stopping in for a treat and a coffee.

Fort Greene Park

Fort Greene Park

South Portland Avenue, Fort Greene, NY 11205

Our very own neighborhood! Since moving into our apartment only a few blocks away from this park three years ago, it's been the site of countless summer picnics and walks for us.

For all the days along the way
