One of our favorite spots in the city, Cafe Wha is a staple of the West Village in Manhattan. Featuring the best house band around, you'll experience the best covers of classic hits, from pop music to classic rock to latin. A bonus reason to go and a warning all in one - the drinks are poured heavy!
Amy's favorite, Ethan's least - for all our theatre friends out there, you won't experience anything like this anywhere else. A piano bar nestled in the West Village, the only music you'll hear here are Broadway hits and deep cuts. Cash only and no talking during the songs, but singing along (in harmony, if you know it!) is recommended.
If you're looking for great views of the city, it doesn't get better than this! A sprawling park along the water will give you unobstructed views of Manhattan all the way to the Statue of Liberty. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops are nestled in between some of Brooklyn's most beautiful brownstones. A great starting or ending point if you're looking to walk the iconic Brooklyn Bridge!
The absolute best cookie shop in the city - if you're visiting some of NYC's finest museums during your trip, would highly recommend stopping in for a treat and a coffee.
Our very own neighborhood! Since moving into our apartment only a few blocks away from this park three years ago, it's been the site of countless summer picnics and walks for us.
