The Gossip Girl. Anita and Jess' friendship started out with their shared love for crafting. Their first project together was making gingerbread man garlands for the lab and they have been lab besties ever since. There is no secret that Jess does not feel comfortable sharing with Anita, and Jess can always count on her for the best reactions (YAYY or OMGGG!). In return, Anita never fails to entertain us in lab with all her latest juicy gossips. hehe ;)

The Jokester. Aaron loves to troll, to the point where the cringing hurts... Don't play games with him because you know you'll lose, but if you're on his team, he'll carry you. Honestly, this guy is one of the most caring people out there. He will find the time to buy heartfelt gifts and drive through L.A. traffic just to get Wingstop with the boys. The Party Mom. Iris is the glue that holds our college friend group together. She's always the fun and thoughtful leader that takes initiative to plan events for all her friends. Her parties will leave you with a full belly and an even more full heart. As an obvious extrovert, Iris still tries to accommodate Jess' introvertedness with wine and crafting girl's nights <3 Thanks for always being the fun mom we needed during college and ever after!

The Foodie. Low-key chef Alex knows how to have a good time. Having late night drunchies? Leave it to him to fix up a leftover feast or adventure into the night with you in search for some KBBQ. Besides his culinary expertise, Alex shares Tin's love of movies and TV, and enjoys trying new things. Watch him vibe out on the dance floor with his smooth grooves! Always a blast catching up with him.

The Best Friend. Anthony has been a true friend to Jess for more than a decade ever since the beginning of freshmen year in college. From struggling with biochem to surviving our time as lab technicians, Anthony has been there through thick and thin. He will bring the fun positive energy to a party, but will also be the true grounding presence when you're in need of a therapy session. Anthony is someone you can always count on!

Brother of the Groom
The Car Enthusiast. Growing up together wasn't entirely easy, but the brothers are definitely closer now. Not much is known about Thanh, being the elusive man that he is. The one thing that we know is his passion for fancy cars and his talent in making them look siiiiiick. Watch this dude eat two whole steaks on his own or several platters of sushi. He's quiet, but watch out for his savage jokes. Happy to have you little bro!

The Older Sister. Hong came into Jess' life only a couple of years ago, but has been a true blessing to Jess and everyone in their lab. She is the nicest and most selfless person you will ever meet, and is like the older sister Jess has never had in her life. She is the best lab partner in crime and Jess can always count on her to talk about everything cats and reality TV shows. Thanks for sharing all your wisdom on science and being a fellow cat mom! Meow :3
Jianing Wang
Sister of the Bride
The Dancer. Growing up five years apart as sisters, Jess and Jianing shared their love for dancing and were each other's shadows everywhere they went. After Jess came to the US, they were separated from each other to opposite sides of the globe, but that didn't break their sisterhood. After getting through some hard times together, they both came out much better and stronger for each other. Now with their weekly calls, they are closer than ever and Jess can only hope to get to know her better as a sister, as a dancer, and as a true friend.

The Spiritual Guide. Whether it's a busy day at work or a chill hang out, Matt is always down to talk about anything and everything. From discussing life and death to sharing weird animal facts, there is never a dull moment talking to Matt. We can always count on Matt to whip out his cracked-up phone to fact check things on Google. After taking us to that bamboo forest and running from coyotes, you will forever be our spiritual guide.

The Rascal. Morgan is the son of Jay, the PI of the lab where Jess, Hong, Anita, and Matt all met. Morgan loves cars, Lightning McQueen, heavy construction vehicles, berry picking, dancing, playing funny jokes, and his dog Max. This will be his first official wedding duty ever!
Mona "Momo"
Floof Ball
Sadly Mona won't be joining us at the wedding :'( But we have to dedicate some sentimental words to this goof ball. She is crucial for keeping Jess sane at home during Tin's long work days. She is the best cat we could ever ask for as first time pet parents, and we all have her to thank during these stressful wedding planning times. Thanks for always being so cute and gentle with us. We will miss you at the wedding!
