Jessica had always liked to dance. One day, she dragged her dorm friends out to audition for a dance group at UC Berkeley called AFX. Tin, on the other hand, being the shy one, just wanted to score some cool points. He learned about the same dance crew while getting a hair cut at a Korean salon. The two auditioned separately and happened to end up on the same training team. One day, Jessica noticed Tin, the guy who would always skate into practice on his longboard. Because she also likes to longboard, Jess decided to approach Tin after dance practice and ask him to hang out. They made plans to board around campus all night, and grabbing some Chinese food afterwards. Over the next few weeks, the feels started to kick in as they discover they enjoyed similar things. Jess and Tin would spend most of their free time together in between work and classes. Watching Lilo and Stitch over at her dorm. Pulling an all-nighter just chatting away. Tin started to eat healthier, including more vegetables in his meals, while corrupting Jess to enjoy more fatty and spicy foods. They embarked on new adventures, learning to paddle board, hiking up several dangerous mountains, trying fancy prix fixe menus, and exploring the world of wines and cocktails. One day, eight years later, with the help of close friends, Tin embarrassingly pulled Jess into the center of Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate Park, and without any shoes on, he got on one knee to ask her to marry him. Flustered and surrounded by children running around during an Easter Day egg hunt, Jess said yes! Now, the two are onto yet another adventure, and want to spend a day to celebrate with the family and friends who have supported them on this journey!
