Travel Note
We recommend using Uber for getting around Rio. It’s easy, affordable, and reliable. While taxis and buses are available, Uber is usually the most convenient and safest option.
Travel Note
The hotel we are blocking out for this trip is the Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro, located in Barra da Tijuca. This area is not right in the center of the city—it’s more of a quiet, luxurious beach town, perfect if you’re looking to relax in a peaceful setting. If you prefer to be in the heart of the city, closer to the hustle and bustle, we recommend hotels in Ipanema or Copacabana.
