Train

Stations in Exeter, Bodmin and Liskeard

If you get trains to these places you can either rent a car, or for people who can't drive, we can probably pick some of you up, if we organise it ahead of time :) If traveling from Texas and you don't want to drive from London Heathrow (which is quite a long journey in the UK), this is a good option, just make sure you book car rentals ahead also.

Flight

Two options

Option one: Fly to London Heathrow from Texas and then either rent a car there and drive (which is a long journey in the UK to Cornwall), or get the underground (Elizabeth Line) to Paddington station, then a train to some where a little closer to Cornwall like Exeter or Plymouth and drive from there. This is the option we always do. Option two: Flying into Dublin, Ireland first, then get another flight to Newquay, Cornwall. Rent a car there, make sure to book this ahead. This could even mean a long layover in Ireland to explore too. We've never done this before, but family members have.

If you've never driven in the UK before: Driving in the UK is very different to driving in Texas, so be ready. Of course it's on the left side of the road, but also the drivers seat is switched. Plus the roads are a lot smaller, as well as loads of parked cars everywhere, in cities and towns. Also be careful of speed cameras! (Waze is a good app) Most cars will be stick shift (manual) so you really should try to book ahead, to guarantee the car you'd like. I really recommend watching some Youtube videos to research.

Please let me know if you'll be needing this and where you'll be staying etc, then maybe I can group people up to share, if you're close. As for between the Church and the Well House, we will all be walking together down the country lane, it's no longer than a 15 min walk.
