St Nectans Glen Waterfall
A Waterfall that's a short drive from the Well House, Adult £10.00 Child (5-15) £5.00. St Nectan’s Glen is a place where fauna take refuge amid tales of fairies, piskies and spirits, serenaded by the wonderful sound of bird song. Once you have reached the top of the woodland walk (1 mile) your journey continues through legend and discovery, so allow yourself to explore the lushness of this site and the natural pleasures your soul has been craving. Tintagel Castle
Built half on the mainland and half on a jagged headland projecting into the Cornish sea, Tintagel Castle is one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain. Its association with King Arthur makes it also one of the most famous. It costs money to go inside the ruins (about £20pp or free if you're a English Heritage member), but you can also see them for free, from afar, if you walk down the path to the lookout point. Also use the chance to explore the town too they have King Arthur's Great Halls (£8pp) or The Old Post Office (£8pp or Free for National Trust members) for more history. But also of course, the town has lots of nice pubs and shops to explore too.
Boscastle
This is the closest town to the Well House. It has a lovely harbour side walk with cute shops, pubs and even a witch museum! Our favourite pub is The Cobweb. :)
Widemouth Bay
Widemouth Bay is a large Sandy beach, that's a short drive away. They have lots of fun things to do like surfing, rock pooling, walks and ice cream! There's also lots of other smaller beaches, that are closer, but this is the big one!
Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe
Closest shop to the venue, they have a great butcher for BBQ goods and bakery etc. It is a small farm shop. The closest big super markets are in Bude, which they have a few different ones. They also have a lovely cafe, with great food and a view! Also if you follow the foot path, there's a great short coastal walk, with a small waterfall going into the sea.
