It was a Sunday when a swipe connected us. Eli, multi-tasking as always, was doing groceries and Tim was coming back from mountain biking. Eli asked Tim out for drinks, Tim suggested dinner. Tim was leaving for Jamaica and Tuesday was Valentine’s day... and seriously, who would choose their first date on Valentine’s Day? So Monday, February 13th is when we met. We agreed to meet at 8:00 pm. Eli thinking that this British guy must be very punctual, arrived at the bar at 8:00 sharp, Tim thinking that Latinos are always late arrived at 8:15. There was immediate chemistry. We had drinks, dinner at Loló, and walked around The Mission for hours - talking, laughing, sharing a connection that unknowingly established a foundation for a lifetime together. Since that night, we’ve been there for each other, unconditionally, through adventures and misadventures. Come celebrate our love as we embark in this big adventure called life! As husband and wife.

The engagement ring was designed by Tim in collaboration with Nervous Systems. Tim was inspired by their use of biomechanics of blooming flowers. The ring is made to mimic the growth of the Orchid, the national flower of Colombia. Tim added 5 diamonds to represent raindrops from the everpresent rain in London. Created with love, it is a unique piece that merges our backgrounds together. The box engraved with ET TE was also designed and created by Tim.
