We're getting married!

We first connected online in our last semester of college, and first met up for coffee nearby campus. The conversation flowed and we had fun, but with the end of college so near, we decided it was best to continue getting to know each other as friends. We were both very busy, but found time to hang out and do homework/grab a meal together frequently over the next couple of months. By mid-April, I think we both knew our friendship could be more, and we made the crazy decision to start a relationship with only four weeks of college left. Dory had a job lined up in Washington after graduation, but Timmy took the leap of faith and decided to move up north as well. The rest is history!

While we were in Los Angeles visiting Timmy's family, we had plans to hit many restaurants and sites in LA. After enjoying a delicious lunch of homemade pasta in downtown, we headed to the Natural History Museum. We wandered through the many rooms of gems, fossils, and animal exhibits before heading outside to the garden area. While enjoying the flowers and native California plants, Timmy surprised Dory by getting down on one knee and proposing! We spent the rest of the trip celebrating with family and friends.
