Wecome Home.

We met at the most romantic place two people can meet: a food service job! After spending a year as friends and discovering how much our lives overlapped (we had grown up merely a fifteen-minute walk from each other!), we officially started dating in October of 2017. We couldn't stay apart, tending to spend all of our time living life in tandem even in the early parts of our relationship. In 2020, Cody made the executive decision we were never going to be apart from each other for that long ever again. We moved in together (with our Maid of Honor!) in August 2021 to the Washington Park neighborhood. In June 2022, we took a much-needed vacation to New York City. This is where Cody proposed: on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (he couldn't have picked a better spot). In October of that year, Lily formally said "yes!", and it was off to the races. After a move in October 2023, Lily and Cody have been lucky to be in a stable situation and saving for their life goal of home ownership, where they plan to have plenty of time to spend on reading, hiking, watching lots of movies, and being attentive pet owners. September 20th 2024 will mark the beginning of this exciting road to a life of peace.
