This is a paved scenic trail excellent for biking, running or walking. It goes from hood river to Mosier. Consider renting and e-bike which is a lot of fun
Hood River is one of the premier locations for kite boarding. It’s even fun to watch near the event site which is the take out spot where you can see lots of riders or find a company to take a lesson. At the event site there is also a small play ground for kids and a number of great restaurant options. It’s excellent place to people watch, a must in my opinion for a visit to Hood River.
Explore Hood River on a kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding adventure! Rentals are available and tours in the heart of the Columbia Gorge, launching from the Hook, just West of the Hood River waterfront park. There’s always more to explore with Wells Island, a local waterfall, and views of Mt Hood and Mt Adams just a short paddle away. Experience the area on your own with hourly and daily rentals or with a scenic guided tour where you can see and learn about the local flora and fauna, including many indigenous birds!
This is a beautiful hike conveniently on the way between Portland Oregon and the area of the venue gorge.
Beautiful hike with a well known large waterfall to enjoy. https://www.oregon.com/attractions/multnomah_falls
