Question

Wait- aren't you guys already married?

Answer

Yes! We were married April 8th, 2021 in a private ceremony because we just couldn't wait! We have looked forward to celebrating with family and friends on our first anniversary since our original wedding plans were scrapped due to the pandemic. Our Celebration of marriage will include a vow renewal ceremony so you can plan on this looking similar to a traditional wedding.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

The wedding is Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses, tuxes and gowns are welcome. No jeans please! We recommend ladies pack an extra layer, as it may get down to 50 degrees after sunset.

Question

Where do I park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Parking is available for free at the wedding venue and you have opportunity to leave your car overnight if needed.

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

The venue is in a rural location about 30 minutes from the heart of Gainesville. We recommend you do not rely on leaving the wedding via Uber, but instead carpool, have a designated driver, or schedule a driver to pick you up if you plan to enjoy the open bar. An Uber can get you to the wedding, but it may be difficult to get back if you do not plan ahead.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

If the website lets you RSVP for 2 (or more), you may bring a guest! If it doesn't you'll have to take it up with the committee-Text John with your best and most persuasive sales pitch on your new someone and we'll see where it goes.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please!
