Please let us know your plans by July 1. If you don't, you're stuck with whatever we serve you and finding your own transportation! Just kidding, we will still do our best to accommodate everyone but can't guarantee that we will be able to. It means a lot that so many are willing to travel to our neck of the woods for this celebration so we really want to make your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible!
Yes, the kiddos are welcome!
Because we decided to be difficult and have a wedding in an area that doesn't have power, options are limited for accommodating special requests. Our main meal is battered walleye (Gary does an amazing walleye), however we understand that fish isn't for everyone. If you have an allergy or really can't stand fish we do have a chicken option. There won’t be a specific vegetarian option (that word isn't well known in these parts haha), but there will be lots of sides you'll be able to load up on!
We will be having a…drum roll pleeease…toonie bar! Drink tickets will be sold on site so no need to weigh your pockets down. Please make sure you bring cash as there will be no ATM available at the wedding. If you forget, don’t say we didn’t warn you!
We have rooms blocked off at La Place Rendez-Vous in Fort Frances. There is also free camping at the venue! Other hotels in the area are the Emo Inn, in Emo (not that that needed clarifying) and the Walla Walla in Rainy River. The Venue is in between both towns. There are some fishing lodges around the area, too if you'd like the full Northwestern Ontario experience!
No, we are not registered anywhere. If you know us (which you do because you’re invited to our wedding) you know our love for travel. If you would like to support us to have the honeymoon adventure of our dreams we would be forever grateful! At the same time, we know the lengths some of you have gone to just to attend our wedding, and honestly your presence is enough of a gift (I’m not just sayin that!). But if you didn't travel...hahah just kidding ;)
