Kennedy and Savanna met in 8th grade and bonded over their love of theatre. (Kennedy may have also taken pity on Savanna's poor fashion choices and general awkwardness). They made a pact when they were 15 that, as only children, they would be each others maid of honor one day. They remained best friends through college, grad school, and now 12 years later Kennedy still helps Savanna pick out her clothes (including a wedding dress)!

Brooke and Savanna met in 6th grade at the county fair showing pigs, where Brooke initially thought Savanna was incredibly weird (she was). In 8th grade, Savanna moved to the same school and they became friends (despite aforementioned weirdness). Their friendship continued through high school, and into college where they eventually reunited in person when Savanna transferred to Texas A&M University. They are currently both enrolled at UTMB, Brooke for nurse practitioner school and Savanna for occupational therapy school. It seems they can't get rid of each other if they tried!

Emily was Savanna's first friend at Texas A&M when she transferred in 2018, assigned her triathlon "big" when Savanna joined the team. They traveled to different states for training trips, races, and vacations. They spent many late nights at med sci library, occasionally almost being asked to leave for being too loud. Emily is a perfusionist in Dallas and is always willing to take a long phone call for a life update or synopsis of a good podcast.

Olivia and Savanna met in occupational therapy school, and became close when Olivia agreed to let Savanna live in her spare bedroom when Savanna's lease was ending. They briefly shared custody of Olivia's black lab, Cooper, and spent many day and nights at the library or at Tequilo's, drowing themselves in chips and queso. They made the most of their time living together on an island, with lots of sunburns to prove it! Olivia saved Savanna more than once, picking her up on runs that went too long and staying up for late night talks about the most recent drama.

Brittney and Savanna have been friends since middle school, where they tormented people on the basketball court and ran track together. In high school, they continued as friends and teammates, cheering each other on at powerlifting, track and cross country meets. Brittney attended college at Texas A&M, but still took road trips to see Savanna and cheer her on at track meets while she ran at Harding University. In 2018, Savanna transferred to A&M and they were roommates for a year in the infamous trailer house.
