Flight
Orlando MCO & Sanford SFB are the closest, most convenient & cheapest to fly in to, generally. Ocala, Florida is located about an hour and a half north of the Orlando area.
Hotel
This is a great hotel, with a horse theme. Ocala is known as the horse capital of the world! This hotel is about 15 minutes from Good Shepherd church where the wedding & reception will be held!
Travel Note
There are so many things to do in/around Ocala. If you have time on either end of the wedding, we recommend checking out: Silver Springs National Park 5656 East Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34488 352-261-5840 Silver Springs is famous for its glass bottom boat tours, which I (Lauren) drag everyone to who has visited me. They also have kayaking/canoeing, great, easy walking trails and wild monkeys...be careful. They like to throwing things at people. You cannot swim here! About 45 minutes - 1 and a half hours away, you can find many springs to swim in. Here are some to look up: Silver Glen Rainbow Springs Salt Springs If you feel like taking a day trip to the beach, Saint Augustine, Florida is about 2 hours away, towards the Atlantic side. It's a beautiful drive through the Ocala National Forest! An awesome place for coffee is Symmetry Coffee in downtown Ocala! I would also recommend checking out downtown Ocala's cute streets, shops and beautiful town square. There are several hotels right off/around the square.
