The Alamo

Highly recommend for first time visitors to San Antonio. It's definitely worth at least stopping by to take a picture but there are great tours available as well.
River Walk

The Riverwalk is a top tourist destination for the city and is full of great restaurants & bars. Narrated river barge cruises are offered through Go Rio if you're interested in a tour of the city but a casual stroll along the river is just as nice.
Historic Market Square

The Historic Market Square is a three-block outdoor plaza lined with shops and restaurants in downtown San Antonio. It is the largest Mexican market in the United States and is a great place to find handmade artisan goods.
Pearl Brewery

The Pearl is a redeveloped brewery complex offering a great selection of local restaurants, bars, & shops. It is one of our favorite places to grab coffee, lunch, or dinner and hang out outside!
San Antonio Botanical Garden

Close to downtown San Antonio and a gorgeous place to visit, especially if you like plants!
The Guenther House

The Guenther House is a historic home on the river in the King William Historic District where Katy grew up. It has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining and is a great place for breakfast.
Mi Tierra Cafe y Panaderia

Mi Tierra is a Tex-Mex restaurant in downtown San Antonio with great food and margaritas and festive decorations! We highly recommend stopping at the bakery to grab some pumpkin empanadas and pan dulce.
Liberty Bar

Casual restaurant and bar in a restored convent near Southtown and the King William Historic District. Great spot for dinner and drinks.
Witte Museum

A great museum near Brackenridge Park focused on nature, science, Texas history, & culture. They also have a few fun interactive exhibits.
Briscoe Western Art Museum

A museum downtown on the Riverwalk focused on the art, history, & culture of the American West. This is where we are getting married!
McNay Art Museum
