We are so excited to Finally celebrate with you!

So how exactly does a teacher in an (almost) all female profession living in Seattle and a baseball salesperson in an (almost) all male profession living in Tacoma come to meet? Exactly like everyone these days...a dating app. After numerous failed attempts at love through swipes, matches, and messages, we were ready to give up. However, in October of 2017, we both decided to stretch our range to 30 miles, and give it another go on an app called Hinge. I (Katie) messaged Tim with two simple characters-- :). Little did Tim know, there was a story behind those two characters and he would soon find out. After a couple weeks of back and forth conversation--which came as natural as lifelong friends, we decided to meet in Seattle for dinner and drinks. I (Katie) was locked in to a 60-min workout class exactly 60 minutes prior to Tim arriving in Seattle. A cancellation at this point would result in getting a $12 late charge, which Tim was not worth (yet). So, that would mean I would not have time to shower, which should have been enough to make Tim turn around and head back to Tacoma, but it was not. Long story short, those first two characters I sent to Tim meant that I truly had a smile on my face and still do to this day. :)
