finally tying the knot

We were setup by friends. John was living in Rancho Cordova with his roommate Rob. Tim was living in Sacramento. Tim's best friend Ben was throwing a Super Bowl Party, and had invited Rob and John. The Patriots were undefeated, and were big favorites in the game. However, they were upset by the New York Giants. Unfortunately, the setup that night was not a success. Fortunately for both of us, our friends tried again that August. And we've been together ever since.
