A local favorite offering fresh breads, pastries, breakfast items, and coffee. It's the perfect spot to stop by while strolling through The Square. Open Thursday through Sunday. Alexa’s go-to choices are the ham & cheese croissant (warmed up) and the blueberry muffin, while Tim’s favorites are the mini humble pie and the brioche.

City Grocery (Elevated Lunch, Dinner, or Happy Hour Upstairs Bar)
One of Oxford's most iconic restaurants was founded in 1992 by Chef John Currence (Alexa's boss) and is housed in a historic Reconstruction-era livery stable on The Square. Recognized as one of Mississippi's best by publications like the NY Times, LA Times, Southern Living, and USA Today, the restaurant offers a blend of fine Southern cuisine with international influences. Don’t miss the upstairs bar—a great spot for Happy Hour with unique vibes and a balcony offering a perfect view of The Square!
