Is there a dress code?

Summer Cocktail Attire. Our church does not have air conditioning, but our reception venue does. Men can wear a suit, with or without a tie.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Sacred Heart has a small parking lot located on the corner of Shady Ave and Alder St. There is also street parking available. We suggest that you take a ride share option from where you are staying. There will be complimentary valet only- parking at The Pittsburgh Golf Club.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive before 1:45 PM for our Nuptial Mass. Our Mass will begin at 2:00 PM.

What can I do in between the Mass and the Reception?

Answer

We suggest grabbing a coffee or drink somewhere during your down time. Within walking distance from Sacred Heart, you can check out: Georgie's Corner Cafe, Margaux, The Urban Tap, or Mario's East Side Saloon.
